Our diaper service also contributes directly to realizing our mission. The Woosh service not only helps us to take care of the logistics of childcare, it also allows us to set up a separate waste stream for diapers. A necessary condition for diaper recycling!
SEPARATE WASTE COLLECTION
Woosh's mission is to make single-use diapers circular and close the diaper chain. But that is not possible without separate collection of diaper waste. Something that did not exist in Belgium until recently. And also the reason why diaper recycling has not yet taken place. Diaper recycling and separate collection of diaper waste go together. One cannot exist without the other.
To break this chicken or egg paradox, we decided to take matters into our own hands and set up our own waste stream. The smart diaper service for daycare centers and childminders that we link to this allows us to collect waste in an affordable, environmentally friendly and efficient way. This way we remain the owner of the used Woosh diapers and we take our responsibility throughout the entire chain.
EFFICIENT RETURNS LOGISTICS
To achieve our mission, we use reverse logistics: we ensure that the diapers return to us after use. The holy grail for the logistics world, and for us a core principle in our operations. To make the collection of diaper waste as sustainable as possible, we combine the delivery of new diapers with the collection of used diapers, both in the same trip.

- made from 100% recycled plastic
