About Woosh:

Woosh is a fast-growing, sustainability-driven organization with the mission to make baby diapers circular by recycling them. Woosh wants to save the diaper from the waste mountain and at the same time relieve childcare workers or parents. Woosh is active in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia with an ecological diaper service and focuses primarily on daycare centers, childminders and, by extension, parents. In addition, Woosh continues to innovate and pioneer to close the diaper chain.

Job description:

As Finance & Admin Support at Woosh, you are responsible for a wide range of tasks to ensure that the financial and administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently. You work accurately, are an administrative jack-of-all-trades and enjoy a varied range of tasks that you can tackle independently, but with the necessary support. Both a part-time and full-time contract are possible (from 50%) as well as a combination with home work (up to 20%).

Your responsibilities:

Financial administration

  • Processing incoming and outgoing invoices.
  • Preparing periodic financial reports.
  • Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable administration.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and cash book maintenance.

Bookkeeping

  • Processing entries in the general ledger.
  • Assisting with monthly and annual closings.
  • Preparing VAT returns and other tax obligations.

Administrative, purchasing and HR support

  • Supporting the management team with administrative tasks and managing correspondence and archiving.
  • Managing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries and maintaining contacts with suppliers.
  • Supporting the recruitment and selection of new employees, maintaining personnel administration, and organizing team events

Backup Customer Support

  • Support the customer support team where necessary
  • Answering customer questions via telephone, email and other communication channels.
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Customer contact is important; Fluency in French and Dutch is required.

Requirements:

Education and experience

  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and business administration
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word), experience with Odoo is a plus

Skills

  • Strong analytical and eye for detail.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written, in French and Dutch.
  • IT-savvy: Interested in testing and applying new software and technologies
  • Proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Good organizational skills
